Nearing the end of my tour of duty as Consul General of Portugal in Toronto, I would like to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude to each and every Portuguese and Portuguese descendent residing in the Provinces of Ontario and Manitoba and in the Territory of Nunavut for their support, cooperation and friendship throughout my, challenging and yet most rewarding, stay in Toronto.
I truly appreciated the very kind support extended to me over the past four years and I am certain that the Portuguese Community will continue to provide the same degree of support and encouragement towards my successor, Dr. Rui Gomes.
